Campaign Schulenburg 2010

Praise the Lord! God is so good. What a honor it is to serve Him each day. We are so thankful that He is the one who guides our every step.

Vincent Bouchard Evangelistic Association officially completed campaign number 1:
Campaign Schulenburg 2010, Praise the Lord!

The Lord lead us and blessed (empowered) us on this first campaign. It is always our heart that He be glorified.

Day #1 of the campaign (Thursday): we set out for Schulenburg, Texas, small town, one and a half hours from Houston. When we arrived it was raining. We went not knowing where we were going to hold the revival meetings, but we knew we were to go. There were a couple options to rent a room. But Vincent had peace about the Best Western. So we went in and asked about the room. God gave us favor there. We both had peace so we officially had the meeting place. The hotel was kind to let us do some work in their lobby. We got all of our handouts and posters ready and set out to bless people and tell them God loves them.

We spent hours going to different businesses to ask for permission to hang up posters for the revival meeting. But praise God we knew that was not all we were supposed to do. We had the opportunity to speak words of faith to others; to tell others how much God loves them. We also went door to door. Which, provided opportunities to meet and minister to others and pray. There were people who welcomed us and people who weren’t so welcoming, but praise God all of them knew God had sent us to encourage them.

On Saturday we went door to door again. We also ministered on the street. A man who has a local businesses allowed us to play guitar outside his store. Vincent sang about Jesus and I met people passing by. I invited them to the meetings. We were able to meet some interesting people. We received words of encouragement and some not so good looks. Praise the Lord!

In the afternoon we had the honor of going to a nursing home. Vincent played guitar and we sang. Vincent preached the salvation message and there was a call for them to receive Jesus. Praise God! I exhorted them that God is with them now and has plans for them now. Then we had a time of individual prayer. Wow, what a blessing to be able to serve there.

We had meetings on Friday and Saturday night. Wow, God is good. There was a very special couple from PA who came. The first night they drove in from another town. They had saw the poster for the revival meeting the day before in the hotel. Vincent took us to school; he taught the Word of God; a very powerful and simple message. He preached about how revival can happen anytime in our hearts. It is up to us how much we want to know God, because He is always willing. He preached on the seed. How everything is a process and if you want to become strong in the Lord, it is a process, so never give up. The couple shared with us how they believed it was of God we were there and they were so encouraged with the powerful, simple message (teaching) from the Word of God. I believe it was of God also; I believe God would send someone across the world to one heart that is crying out to him. We had wonderful meetings that were filled with the importance of walking with God and how it is possible, each day. We were able to pray for the people. We believe that God accomplished what He desired and that He was glorified.

As I stepped into the town I was so thankful to our partners. Thank you partners for your support. Each place we go you are there with us furthering the Kingdom of God.

"Jesus came and told his disciples, "I have been given complete authority in heaven and on earth.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20
