Fredericksburg, TX

what do you think God would do to reach one person? would he send a messenger from across the state? the continent? the world? how far would He go? how much would He pay? is there a cost that is too much for Him? a distance too far?

I believe the cross is the answer to those questions. He came from Heaven to earth. He gave it all_ His very own Son; His One and only Son. That's how far He would go and that's how much He would pay. That's how far love would go; that's how much love is willing to pay.

would He be willing to look like a fool for a lost soul? the answer, again, is in the shame of the cross_ He despised the shame (thought little of it) for the joy set before Him.

does God still send messengers? the word apostle actually means special messenger. in II Corinthians 5 Paul referred to himself as an ambassador for Christ.

if your son or daughter was lost somewhere, dying, what ends would you go to, to see them saved? would you pay any sum of money? or would there be a limit to what you would pay? I can't imagine any loving parent saying yes. if you knew that there was one person who could help them, would you call on that one person? would you pay whatever it would take and do whatever you needed to do, to help that one messenger get the job done? I know the answer is yes.

God is Love. He loves people. He cares about people. He came to seek and save that which was lost. There are so many in this earth still unreached; still lost (including many in the church). When we came to Fredericksburg TX this was very real to me. As we set up on the street and sang songs for what seemed to be nobody, I knew God had a purpose. I knew that He had a song for someone; a Word for someone in that town. As we were faithful to worship God and sing to Him, regardless of what it looked like, I felt the anointing of God strong in me; I know He was speaking to someone. Thank you Lord for the honor of serving You. May you be glorified in all the earth. May your will be done and your Kingdom come. Our lives are yours and by your grace we will do what you have called us to do and your purposes for our lives will be accomplished.
