Thank you Lord! We have had a blessed start of the mission. God is good. We believe God has divine appointments each day, each place we go during this mission.
We know that God directs our footsteps. He knows each person He desires for us to be in contact with. We spent three and a half days in NM. During our time there we were able to encourage others with the Word of God. I will share several of the things the Lord did.
We had the opportunity to go to a youth camp, that was actually only about 200 yards from my parents' house. My youth pastor from when I was in youth group invited us to come and be a part of the morning service. We were able to speak God's Word into each other's lives and pray for each other. It was a blessing, and empowerment.
God gave us the opportunity to sit with a local Pastor. We were able to just listen and Vincent spoke encouragement from the Word. We spent time praying for eachother, which was so wonderful.
We also were able to visit one of my friends who is 95 years old. We sat and fellowshipped with him and were able to pray with Him and encourage Him.
One morning, we were honored with being able to minister in a nursing home in Silver City, NM. Wow, what a wonderful time. We ministered through music and the preaching of the Word of God. God loves everyone no matter the age and always desires to use them no matter the age. I prayed for some of the residents at the end of the service. There was one lady: I told her God loved her and she looked at me and tears filled her eyes. She expressed how she hoped so but was not sure. I spoke the Word of God to her about the truth of His love for her. I know His Word is life and Truth and her spirit soaked it up. Never underestimate what God can do in any one's life; no matter where you are. She needed someone to simply confirm to her how much God loves her; this opens the door for healing and breakthrough in her life. THANK YOU JESUS! I am so glad and honored to have crossed her path.
